Pianist Rudolf Buchbinder to Release New Recording of Mozart Piano Concertos

The "Viennese oracle" (The Philadelphia Inquirer) pianist Rudolf Buchbinder will release his newest Sony Classical album, a recording of Mozart's Piano Concertos No. 23 in A Major, K. 488 and No. 25 in C Major, K. 503 with conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Concentus Musicus Vienna, in the US and the UK on January 22, 2013. The recording is a live account of Buchbinder's concerts with Concentus Musicus at the Vienna Musikverein in June 2012. (more...)

Immediate Medium Presents THE FUTURE AT THE END OF THE WORLD, 12/10-12

To celebrate the conjunction of its 10th anniversary and the "end" of the Mayan calendar, Immediate Medium is creating an immersive, interdisciplinary group performance called The Future at the End of the World. Bot'Ox to Release BASEMENT LOVE EP, 12/10

After releasing their debut LP two years ago, French duo Bot'Ox has embarked on a new project consisting of six EPs to be released over the course of one year. The culmination of releases by Cosmo Vitelli and Julien Briffaz will reveal a single story. The first piece of the puzzle is an EP entitled Basement Love, consisting of the self-titled single and three dancefloor-worthy remixes. Music Video for 50 Cent's New Single with Adam Levine to Debut Online Tomorrow

Hip hop heavyweight 50 Cent announced today the release of his new single "My Life." The Eminem and Adam Levine assisted single, produced by Symbolyc One, will be available tomorrow at all digital retailers. The video, shot and directed by Rich Lee, was filmed in Detroit, Michigan and creates stunning visuals as 50 Cent, Eminem and Adam Levine desperately try to escape a tenacious helicopter that relentlessly follows them throughout their environments. On Tuesday, November 27, Columbia Records and Twentieth Century Fox Television will release Glee: The Music Season 4, Volume 1, the next official release in the Glee music collection. Available in both standard and deluxe versions, Glee: The Music Season 4, Volume 1 will feature songs performed by the Glee cast favorites and the show's newcomers, including heartfelt renditions of Imagine Dragons' "It's Time," Coldplay's "The Scientist" and Taylor Swift's "Mine." The album will also premiere brand new tracks from upcoming episodes, such as One Direction's wildly popular "Live While We're Young" and Psy's dance anthem "Gangnam Style." The David Lynch Foundation will host an "An Historic Night of Jazz" benefit to raise money for free meditation instruction to inner city kids, veterans suffering from PTSD, low-income communities and women and girls who have been victims of violence and abuse. Midge Ure Announces First US Solo Tour in a Decade, Begins Jan. 2013

Grammy Winner Midge Ure has announced plans for a solo US tour in January 2013 which will be the first time he performs in the US in a decade. The tour kicks off in Long Island New York on the 8th of January with the only acoustic show on the trek and winds up on the west coast in LA on January 26th. The last tour Midge did across the US was all acoustic in 2001 - this will also be the first tour with a full band since 1985. RCA Nashville's Jake Owen is celebrating his third consecutive No. 1 single - and first that he co-penned - to date with "The One That Got Away," which landed in the top spot on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck country radio airplay charts this week.
