Aha, was a glitch from Facebook in the 'Share' button at the top of message pages. Switched to a different version of their code and seems happier now.

We've been doing some server maintenance and back-end upgrades the last few nights and at some odd early morning hours when our traffic is lower. They should all be done now though, assuming all the new things work happily together.

Thx! That indeed indicates that it's inserting directly into our normal database, and then something's going wonky when it's adding to our search server which is why it's still showing up on the board. Got someone on the case!

I'm a HUGE fan of the Century Trilogy and just finished Winter... a couple of weeks ago.
I've bought Pillars of the Earth, but haven't started it yet because of well, these sites.  Will I be as pleased?

We've been actively working on this with the authorities and ourselves. The 'problem' is that it's low-cost foreign labor doing the posting whereas most automated anti-spam systems are designed for blocking computers, not poorly paid people. Annoying!

Thx for the heads up. That's what happens when someone tries to remove their account by just removing their email address and password from it. We've killed that account and will disable that from happening again. (Weird!)
