2010 UK Radio Station to Feature GLEE Recording

The kids of 'Glee' are the focus for a new UK radio station, New York Post reports. The station has bypassed all standard radio fare in favor of the 'New Directions' cast recordings of popular songs like 'Don't Stop Believin',' and 'Sweet Caroline.'

The Stryker/Slagle Band Releases New CD at The Jazz Standard, Aug. 10

After a successful two-night run at the Jazz Standard in January, The Stryker / Slagle Band decided to strike while the fire was hot and headed back up to bassist Jay Anderson's Mountain Rest Studio in New Paltz, NY to lay down nine new original tracks as well as a cover of Thelonious Monk's 'Ruby My Dear.' This is the 3rd CD by the same quartet: Dave Stryker (guitar), Steve Slagle (sax), Jay Anderson (bass), and Victor Lewis (drums), that released The Scene to critical success in 2008.

Goo Goo Doll's Single 'Home' Premiers on VH1.com, Aug. 3

The video for 'Home,' the new single from platinum selling rock band, Goo Goo Dolls, will premiere on VH1.com on Tuesday, August 3rd, followed by all other media outlets the next day. 'Home,' which has been embraced by radio and is currently in the Top 15 of Hot AC and is rising. It is the first single from the Goo Goo Dolls' upcoming ninth studio album, Something For the Rest of Us, which will be released by Warner Bros. Records on August 31st.
