New York-based power rock quartet, Morning Fuzz, is ready to wake the masses to their unique brand of alternative rock, catchy lyrics, and radio-friendly hooks, with the June 25, 2013 release of their debut, full-length album, Chasing Ghosts, produced by Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters, Nirvana) and recorded at the Laundry Room Studio in Seattle, WA.

Before the album hits, the Brooklyn Boys made their national TV debut on Artie Lange's DirecTV show today, June 21st (11 pm PT on Channel 239). A new video, for first single "You Say", also debuted today. Shot in New York, the video features an opening scenes from Venice Beach, CA before jumping into a TV set where you see the band perform live in a dark "party" atmosphere. The song was created out of a repetitive little melody dancing about in singer Fussa's mind, "One day I got a marching beat stuck in my head, I started playing and singing the melody I had to that kind of beat. I brought it to practice and just came up with the song once we started jamming." This driving rhythm-infused piece will entrench itself in your head...Morning Fuzz hopes to do the same with the release of their hit-heavy, debut album "Chasing Ghosts".

Morning Fuzz was formed in 2009 by front man, vocal/guitarist, Frank Fussa and childhood friend, bassist, Christopher Johanidesz. After a stint as the quietly successful band, Ultra High Frequency, Frank and Chris re-formed along with the talented and versatile Italian import, drummer Marco Sulis and longtime friend, guitarist extraordinaire, Michael Cullari, who completed the band's direction toward a big, dual guitar sound. As for the name, Fussa attributes that to an early morning brainstorming session while staring out the bedroom window onto fog-shrouded streetlight. Since then, Morning Fuzz has cemented their position in the music scene, electrifying various venues in N.Y.C. and throughout the East Coast. Now, under the direction of renowned producer, the band has put their heart into this ten-song masterpiece that will have listeners humming melodies, rocking out air drum fills, and singing hooks in the car.
