VH1 Reality Star Kenya Bell Signs Major Record Deal

Season four of the wildly popular show, “Basketball Wives,” introduced Kenya Bell to viewing audiences as an up-and-coming recording artist in the midst of finalizing a major marital chapter in her life. Kenya Bell’s ambitious story line was explosive, making her debut season on the show the most watched in franchise history. Much more than a reality show star-on-the-rise, Kenya Bell is in the studio working on her R&B album debut.    

“I am excited to work with Bungalo Records on this distribution deal and can’t wait for the world to hear my music,” said Kenya Bell. “It has been a lifelong dream to record an album and share my passion of singing with the world.”

The distribution deal is unprecedented: No other reality television personality associated with a franchise of its kind, has successfully signed a major deal to release music.

The first single under the distribution deal, “Hate Me” by Kenya Bell will be released worldwide on December 11, 2012 with her debut album to follow in 2013. The Jazze Pha produced track will be available on iTunes following the release date.
