U.K. Duo BONDAX Announces North American Tour

BONDAX
Hailing from remote Lancaster, Britain, BONDAX are a very unusual act and one that's arrived just at the right time. Though the duo of George Townsend and Adam Kaye may have all the hallmarks of 2012's bass music, the newest production techniques, tweaks and club rhythms, there's something deeper underlying all their tracks which gives them pop appeal. This winter, North American dance enthusiasts with an appreciation for classic house music with a modern twist will be able to experience their fresh sounds in the flesh via their debut tour launching December 5 in Brooklyn, NY.
Generating ripples with their truly original sonic sounds, BONDAX are coming stateside for the first time to support “Baby I Got That/It’s You” onJustus/Relentless. The 11-date major market tour also includes stops in Miami, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Vancouver.
Soaked in Balearic soul, “Baby I Got That” stands layered with ethereal vocal cuts that float above jangly piano stabs and breezy drops.Sumptuous bass and itchy percussion provide the attitude as they sit alongside a bed of house music. On the flipside, “It’s You” chops upromantic female vocals for a modern-day love song in the only way BONDAX know how: rich and otherworldly. Their remix of Rudimental’s“Not Giving In” which peaked at #1 on Hype Machine is also key to their current rise with a new single “Gold” due out January 27.

Already supported by the likes of major U.K. tastemakers Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Nick Grimshaw at Radio 1 and Mary Anne Hobbs,BONDAX’s skittering beats and hazy grooves are set to single them out as ones to watch this winter, cementing them as the most exciting thing to come out of Lancaster since, well, ever.
