Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series returned to the Allen Room in January for its fourteenth season to celebrate the diversity of American popular song. Elaine Paige sings as part of the series on February 10, 2012.

Currently starring as Carlotta in Broadway’s Follies, Elaine Paige is an Olivier Award winner and originated the role of Eva Peron in Evita. Paige has also played leading roles in Cats, Chess, Piaf, Sunset Boulevard, The King and I, and countless others. She earned a top-ten spot on the charts for the original recording of “Memory,” has recorded multiplatinum solo albums, and has performed around the world.
