"Amos Lee played our first Holiday Cheer concert back in 2005 and we're so glad he's decided to come back to support us again this year. We've watched both him and Citizen Cope grow artistically over the years. It makes me proud that we were among the first stations to play their music when they were starting out," said WFUV Music Director Rita Houston. "We' re also thrilled to be introducing exciting new talent in The Secret Sisters and virtuoso performers Punch Brothers to our audience. That's what WFUV is all about-showcasing artists we believe in."
WFUV is a non-commercial, listener-supported public radio station, licensed to Fordham University for over 60 years. Serving the New York area as well as an international audience on the web, and a leader in contemporary music radio, WFUV is Rock & Roots Radio, offering an eclectic mix of rock, singer-songwriters, blues, world and other music, plus headlines from National Public Radio and local news.
