The Roots' lifestyle brand and music communities, Okayplayer and Okayafrica, will host the 5th annual Okayplayer Holiday at Brooklyn hotspot the Brooklyn Bowl. Each year the event is a star-studded jam with surprise special guests jumping on stage for unscheduled performances with The Roots.
As Okayplayer says, "you never know who's gonna show." The guestlist includes music luminaries and industry insiders, as well as a few lucky diehard Roots fans.
This year the holiday party will include Music Unites Youth Choir, an ensemble of public high school students from across NYC, who have benefited from the support of the Music Unites vocal and music training program.
