From the age of 16 when she toured with The Young Americans and later as a member of Disneyland Kids of the Kingdom, Sherry Williams has rarely been out of work. Her busy career has included TV appearances (Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, The Glen Campbell Show, The Tom Jones Show, The Della Reese Show, Soul Train and others), film, recording sessions, nightclubs, festivals and concert tours, including tours with Andy Gibb, and the legendary Johnnie Ray. When you listen to her you realize immediately that she is a consummate artist - the real thing. Williams is what they called in the old days a storyteller - she paints pictures with words. Yet she bridges the gap between the past and the present.

Dubbed “Cool Miss B” by her fellow musicians, Betty’s career started in Kansas City, where she was mentored by the great Jay McShann, Grammy nominee and the originator of the “Kansas City Sound.” A famous photograph of Betty with Jay McShann hangs in the American Jazz Museum in Kansas City. She has performed internationally and just this year was featured at the Boquete Jazz and Blues Festival in Boquete, Panama. She’s been popular in LA since the 1950’s and the “Betty Bryant Birthday Bash” is a hugely popular event in Hollywood at the famed Catalina’s Jazz Club.
