"Better Dig Two" has also rooted itself in the #1 spot on both Nielsen BDS Canada Country National Airplay and Mediabase Canada Country Airplay charts for the second consecutive week, showing the staying power of The Band Perry's first #1 single in that country. The fastest-rising single of their career has sold over one million copies and also marks the sibling trio's third chart-topper.
The lead single's success sets a phenomenal tone for The Band Perry's new album, PIONEER, which is slated for release April 2 on Republic Nashville. Amid rave reviews on the first track, the highly-anticipated sophomore project has been named one of Entertainment Weekly's "12 Albums We Can't Wait For." Producer Dann Huff showcases the family trio's signature mix of Country and Rock & Roll sounds, creative lyrics and robust musicality. The trio is giving fans a preview of the new music while on the road with Rascal Flatts' CHANGED TOUR.
Adding to the excitement, The Band Perry received an ACM nomination for Vocal Group of the Year just last week. The 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast on Sunday (4/7) at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
