TERRA STIGMA
After ripping up the tri state area over the past year with high profile performances opening for such acts as 12 Stones and Evans Blue, the Long Beach, NY based hard rock band Terra Stigma have announced today that they will be recording new material this January in Philadelphia with Producer John Moyer (Disturbed, Adrenaline Mob).
John Moyer is the bassist and back up vocalist for the heavy metal band Disturbed. Moyer has played bass on Disturbed's third studio album Ten Thousand Fists, their fourth album Indestructible and Disturbed's fifth album Asylum & sixth album Lost Children.
"We are thrilled to have a chance to work with such an accomplished music industry veteran on this record" said Shawn Stuart, Bassist and co-songwriter since the band's inception, "We look forward to finally getting our new songs out there as they are our most meaningful, powerful songs to date, we look forward to sharing them to the world.
The band previously released two well received CD EPs (2008, 2011) with producer Marc Jordan (Velvet Revolver, The Cult) which were Mastered by Tom Baker (Deftones, Seether) and gained a reputation for hitting the streets hard, playing over 200 venues including Sullivan Hall, Cbgb's, Arlene's Grocery and Mulcahys and scoring opening slots for national acts such as Rev Theory, Taproot, Adema, Reach 454 and Phantom Planet over the past several years. With the recent addition of Lead Guitarist Jared Elliot, more of the same is expected with this hard hitting new lineup in 2013.
