SOLANGE to Perform at Arlun Studios Concert Series Launch

Nokia and Verizon Wireless will present an exclusive launch event at the legendary Arlyn Studios - Austin's original premiere recording facility, featuring a special live performance by Solange. The concert series is closely aligned with Nokia Music, a free music streaming service from Nokia that offers unlimited access to playlists and songs on Nokia Lumia smartphones.

"Whether you're new to the service or an experienced user, Nokia Music is a great platform for people to discover new music as much as it is for them to listen to some of their favorite artists," said Jyrki Rosenberg, VP of Entertainment for Nokia. "Keeping in line with that celebration of music discovery, we're excited to team up with Roc Nation and Raptor House for a thrilling week of performances in Austin from an eclectic group of artists."

Solange's latest single, "Losing You" and her critically acclaimed EP: True, with collaborator Dev Hynes, is reflective of her journey as an artist, bringing listeners a fresh new sound, "with a breezy fusion of singer-centric R&B, 1980's pop, and lanky mid-tempo hip-house beasts," as described by Spin Magazine. Along with her success as a DJ, Solange previously released two albums, Solo Star (2003) and Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams (2008), which entered the top ten of Billboard's 200 Chart. Solange's performance will be streaming live on Livestream Sunday night at www.verizoninsider.com/nokiamusicverizon.

Nokia will also present the Roc Nation at Raptor House Concert Series in Austin, Texas from March 10th - 14th. As mobile partner, Nokia has joined forces with Roc Nation and Raptor House to curate a diverse lineup of music programming to coincide with the festival. Jim Pallotta's Raptor Group has taken over the historic Arlyn Studios in Austin, TX March 8th - 13th and transformed the property into the "Raptor House". Raptor House is the perfect "invite only" place to chill and relax in-between conferences and showcases.

The concert series will feature live performances that will take place through out the week from Haim, Caveman, Body Parts, He's My Brother She's My Sister, The Mowgli's, Wardell, Vacationer, Kan Wa Kan, The Lone Bellow, Carousel, Elle King, The Blank Tapes, Mayaeni, The Well Spring, and more. On Thursday, March 14th, Nokia Music will wind down their week of activation with a special late night performance by Rudimental.
