That record, which was heavily influenced by the music of Josh White,Harry Belafonte, and Theodore Bikel, garnered good reviews and, in turn, led to his being signed by Elektra Records' Jac Holzman. Grossman continued to sing and kept performing into the late '60s, even as the folk revival waned.
