Richard Kincaid Teams With Sax Star Dave Koz for I WISH THAT WAS ME

Fast-rising indie vocalist Richard Kincaid (www.richardkincaidmusic.com) has pulled heartstrings before, but he hits explosive new emotional highs (and lows) with "I Wish That Was Me," his latest single featuring contemporary jazz saxophone great Dave Koz.

A powerful, soaring chronicle of unrequited love and the heartbreak of watching the object of your affection love someone else, "I Wish That Was Me" made the jump this week from #47 to #38 on the BDS A/C Chart and rose to #39 on the Mediabase A/C Chart. It is now in the Top 5 in the Mediabase A/C of most active new independent label/artist releases.

The track's other current radio airplay chart activity is equally exciting. "I Wish That Was Me" made the leap to #17 on the FMQB AC40 Chart sharing space on the list with an array of today's pop superstars: Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Alicia Keys, Mumford and Sons, Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift.

In addition, the song is at #5 on R&R's A/C New & Active Chart, which includes cuts bubbling under the Top 30 chart. R&R also reports that "I Wish That Was Me" is at #38 on their A/C Indicator Chart, which reports secondary markets.

Kincaid says, "If you've ever loved someone that didn't love you back, this song is for you!" The powerful track is written by multi-talented songwriter/producer David Taylor II, who collaborated with Kincaid on his independent recording, Mosaic.

Apart from pursing his music career following his years as CEO of the largest publicly traded office real estate company in the U.S., Kincaid also embraces his philanthropic interests and created the BeCause Foundation, a non-profit organization that combines documentary films and outreach campaigns and tackles hot-button issues like homelessness and healthcare, human rights, sexual abuse of children and bullying.
