RUSH to Continue Clockwork Angels Tour Through 2013

Live Nation announced today that due to overwhelming demand, the highly acclaimed RUSH Clockwork Angels Tour will return to North America for a selection of dates this summer. Beginning in April, fans will be able to catch RUSH in a number of new markets not visited on last year's highly successful tour. Tickets for the Clockwork Angels Tour will go on sale starting January 28th in select markets at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.

Rush's 20th studio album, Clockwork Angels has earned rapturous accolades by fans and press alike since its release June 12th of last year. The Quietus described Clockwork Angels as "an extremely accomplished piece of music composed and performed absolutely flawlessly". Q magazine called the taut songcraft "utterly engaging." Rolling Stone declared "the power-trio interplay could put guys half their age in the burn ward," while All Music Guide succinctly summed up "Clockwork Angels demonstrates why, after 36 years, Rush's fan base continues to grow. Its musical athleticism and calisthenic discipline are equaled only by its relentless creative drive and its will to express it in a distinct musical language." The Guardian UK claimed, "Those who worship at the temple of Rush will be in raptures; for those who remain agnostic, there may well be enough here to justify a leap of faith."

At The End of 2012, Rush won both the Band of the Year and Album of the Year awards at the Classic Rock Awards in London, UK. This year, to the delight of patient Rush fans worldwide, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame at the momentous Ceremony in Los Angeles on April 18th.

Rush then kicks off their Clockwork Angels North American 2013 Tour on April 23rd in Austin, TX and will visit Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Nashville, Raleigh, Virginia Beach, Baltimore, Uncasville, and Atlantic City this spring. After returning from their European dates, a second leg will begin in June which will include stops in Hershey, Wantagh, Saratoga, Chicago, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Boston, Calgary, Vancouver, Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, and will finally return to Grand Rapids and Halifax for the first time in decades. The tour will continue into August and further information on these cities and venues will be available soon!

Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets through Citi's Private Pass Program beginning January 23rd in select markets. For complete presale details visit www.citiprivatepass.com.
