Pacha NYC Announces June 2010 Events

As spring leads us into summer, there is only one place to be for all of your warm weather clubbing needs. New York's legendary superclub Pacha NYC turns the heat up on the dance floor with another month stacked with lauded residents, world class headliners and beloved events. The month kicks off on June 4th with the one and only Tom Stephan aka Superchumbo celebrating his birthday in grand style. Then on Saturday, June 5th Mark Knight celebrates his 1 year anniversary of the Toolroom Knights residency night at Pacha NYC. It has been a year of memorable events and unforgettable music from the Toolroom main man and this celebration is sure to top them all. On Friday, June 11th Pacha NYC proudly presents the return of Argentine DJ hero Hernan Cattaneo and on June 12th Boris brings in the summer sun with his annual Beach Party. Watch as the Pacha NYC favorite transforms the venue into a surfside paradise to get everyone in the mood for the coming months. Friday, June 18th sees the legend, Oscar G grace the decks for a very special night of quality house music...Miami style. Oscar will be recording his set live for his upcoming mix CD, Oscar G: Live from NYC. On June 26th is the prince of darkness himself, Jonathan Peters as he brings back his delightfully debaucherous S&M Party. Closing out the month, we celebrate New York City Gay Pride weekend with the ultimate closing party - DESTINATION: PRIDE with Pride favorites Tony Moran, Manny Lehman, and Susan Morabito.

What an eventful year it has been since Mark Knight took his famed Toolroom Knights residency to the DJ booth of New York's best super club. Since it started there has been a party with no pants, a celebration for Mark's latest album and a massive birthday party as only Toolroom Knights can do. Now we celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Toolroom Knights at Pacha NYC. This special evening brings the label's head honcho, Mark Knight back for another set of his trademark sound. Mark has been responsible for some of clublands biggest hits and Beatport's best sellers over the years including "Good Times", "Flauta Magica", and "Music Matters". His Toolroom Knights radio show and Toolroom Records have both kept up their reputation of quality dance music destinations with IDMA nominations in their respective fields. The Manufactured Superstars will also be on hand for this very special celebration.

Pacha NYC welcomes back Argentinean DJ hero Hernan Cattaneo for a rare New York City appearance. Cattaneo possesses the unmatched understanding of house music that has landed him the title of one of the most respected DJs working today. He has held coveted residencies at powerhouse clubs such as Clubland in Argentina and Cream in both England and Ibiza. He has played at all major festivals including Burning Man, Coachella, Creamfields and Homelands. His mix albums have been released on the the likes of Renaissance and Pefecto including his latest edition in the Renaissance: Masters Series. This event will be a truly special evening for house and progressive music fans as represented by one of the genre's finest.
