Prior to its 10-day performance and cultural tour of Vienna and Prague, MYSO's 108-member MYSO Senior Symphony will offer a local performance at a Bon Voyage Concert Saturday, June 30, 7:00 p.m., in Helen Bader Concert Hall of the UW-Milwaukee Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts, 2419 East Kenwood Blvd., Milwaukee. Tickets for this performance will be $13.50 for adults and $10.50 for students and seniors and are available through the Zelazo Center Box Office (http://www4.uwm.edu/psoa/newsevents/boxoffice.cfm).
Concert selections in Milwaukee and on tour will include Beethoven's Egmont Overture; Kevin Puts' "...this noble company" (2003); Gershwin's Porgy and Bess: A symphonic picture; Mars and Jupiter from Holst's "The Planets," Kabalevsky's Overture to Colas Breugnon and Copland's Billy the Kid Suite.
