Salsero Luis Damon will celebrate his video premiere "Por Amor" at the Copacabana on Satuday December 1st. Doors will open at 10pm, Damon's live performance and video screening will take place at 12am. Copacabana will also be serving complimentary Remy Martin from 11pm - 1am. Come watch the premiere, sip on the (free) champagne cognac and dance the night away.
Salsero Luis Damon got introduced to music at an early age, he was born and raised to Puerto Rican parents in New York City. The singer signed with WEA Latina in 1996 and recorded his first Spanish language album, Solo. His first single was a cover of the Luis Miguel classic Me Niego Estar Solo and quickly became a radio favorite. However, it was the second single Vivir La Vida which became the breakaway cut that kept the album at the top of Billboard Magazine's Tropical charts. The same year, Luis Damon earned a nomination for Best New Male artist at the coveted Premio Lo Nuestro" awards. Since thenLuis has matured both as an artist and as a song writer, which is reflected by his new material. His soulful vocals combine heart felt ballads with strong tropical rhythms is what you will experince. Luis Damon comes to the Copacabana (268 West 47th Street, NYC) on Saturday December 1st, 2012. Doors open at 10pm, followed by the video premiere and performance at 11pm, plus complimentary Remy Martin cocktails from 11pm - 1am.
