Lionel Richie Joins Jimmy Buffett at Detroit's Comerica Park Tonight, 7/28

Lionel Richie joins Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band at Comerica Park tonight, July 28 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Richie’s latest country duets album, Tuskegee, featuring his collaboration with Jimmy Buffett on the timeless hit, “All Night Long,” has claimed the No. 1 spot on the overall Billboard Top 200 albums chart.

Richie, a Grammy and Oscar Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, has sold 100 million albums and earned 22 Top 10 hits, including "Stuck On You," "Penny Lover," Say You, Say Me" and "Endless Love". Kicking off the evening, Richie will perform many of his biggest hits, including the island-flavored hit “All Night Long”, “Brick House” and “Dancing on the Ceiling”.

Concert fans are invited to soak in the full Margaritaville tailgating experience, starting Saturday at 8 a.m., with a free downtown "Margaritaville Beach Beach Party”: Party” for all to enjoy. Located on the grounds surrounding Comerica Park, the ‘beach party’ will feature a LandShark Lounge, margarita tasting, hula hooping, a variety of midway games, live entertainment and much, much more.
