The present fight and cry of the Children of the African diaspora can be heard and felt in the music of the soul/reggae fusion band, Judah Tribe. The band has members representing the USA, Haiti and Ecuador, each bringing their own unique story in a quest for peace, equal rights and justice. Led by singer/songwriters Josh David and Eric (The General) Toussaint, the revolutionary sounds of Judah Tribe have been heard at The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (where they opened for The Wailers), Brooklyn Academy Of Music, as a champion for the call to justice for Sean Bell with their tune, "Judgment", and at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater.
Presently, Judah Tribe is in the studio finishing their debut album, NEW DAY DAWNIN', due for release this Fall. Recent collaborations include works with Ethiopian-native, Shéba ("Love This Lifetime"), Pashon Minott (the daughter of Sugar Minott), Biggz General & Alex Marley of The Marley Family, and Dax Lion.
