Jetset Getset to Benefit Play It Forward With 11/7 Concert

Jetset Getset to Benefit Play It Forward With 11/7 Concert

Jetset Getset (JSGS) is stepping up to help musicians who are down on their luck. The teenage country music band will perform a concert November 7 at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill in Cincinnati, Ohio, to celebrate the release of their new album "Saturday Night" (Playback Records). Proceeds from CD sales at the show will benefit Play It Forward, a nonprofit organization that supports musicians during times of crisis.

"Almost everybody knows someone who has experienced an emergency and needed financial help," said Kelli Jette, manager of Jetset Getset. "We believe in helping others, especially fellow musicians. Play It Forward does a lot of good, and we're glad to support them with our music."

Play It Forward was founded by Radio Hall of Famer Gary Burbank, who for many years hosted one of the Midwest's most popular radio programs on 700 WLW. The organization has produced many concerts, including one that featured rock legend Peter Frampton. Jetset Getset is the youngest group ever to perform a benefit for Play It Forward.

"Play It Forward is by its very nature an organization that is focused on the successful future of the Cincinnati music scene," said John Sheil, executive director. "Jetset Getset are talented, hard-working young musicians who embody that vision. We are pleased to be working with them for this special event. It's truly a pleasure to watch this band's progress and we look forward to seeing them wowing audiences for many years to come."

JSGS is fronted by 15-year-old singersTori Little, Avery Eliason and Sadie Loveland. Known for their three-part harmonies, the trio is backed by guitarist Jason Owens, 16; guitarist Justen Jette, 14; bass player Paul Kelley, 15; and drummer Aaron Smith, 16. Sitting in with Jetset Getset at their upcoming concert will be fiddle player Nick Netherton, who is known for his work with two popular groups in Cincinnati, the Danny Frazier Band and the Dan Varner Band.

Jetset Getset, which has performed primarily at fairs and festivals throughout the South and the Midwest since 2011, was discovered early in 2012 by veteran record producer Jack Gale, who saw them performing on "The Shotgun Red Variety Show" on Nashville's RFD-TV. Gale signed Jetset Getset to a recording contract with his company, Playback Records, to produce "Saturday Night." In a recent review, Music News Nashville compared Jetset Getset a younger version of Dixie Chicks.

Jetset Getset will perform at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7 at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill, 145 2nd Street East, Cincinnati, OH 45202. All ages admitted for the show. No cover charge. Proceeds from CD sales at the event will benefit Play It Forward. For information, call 513-721-8629. Information about Jetset Getset is available at www.JetsetGetset.com.
