Jetset Getset Releases New Album, SATURDAY NIGHT

After spending two years performing throughout the South and Midwest, teen-country music group Jetset Getset (JSGS) has released their first professionally produced album, "Saturday Night," on the Nashville-based Playback Records label. With 10 tracks about love and friendship, the album "adeptly shows off the trio's pitch-perfect, three-part harmonies, backed by some of Nashville's top studio musicians."

"Jetset Getset is terrific," said Jack Gale, president of Playback Records. "There are very few kids singing country music, and these girls' harmonies are different from anything that anyone else is doing."

"We are really proud of this album," said singer Avery Eliason, 14. "It was exciting to work with such experienced artists and producers."

Based in Dearborn County, Indiana, Jetset Getset is comprised of Eliason and fellow singers Tori Little and Sadie Loveland, both 15. They are backed, in live performances, by bass player Paul Kelley, 15; guitarist Jason Owens, 16; drummer Aaron Smith, 16; and guitarist Justen Jette, 14. The group was formed in 2011 by manager Kelli Jette, who discovered the girls separately and became convinced they would sound great together.

"These are strong, independent, young women," Jette said. "They are incredibly talented and hard-working. Audiences who have never seen Jetset Getset fall in love with them, wherever they perform."

Prior to the release of "Saturday Night," JSGS had performed a mix of original songs and cover tunes on the nationally syndicated "Shotgun Red Variety Show" on RFD-TV in Nashville, as well as many other venues including the Indiana State Fair, the Kentucky State Fair, the Minnesota State Fair, and the Kentucky Speedway, where the group's "NASCAR Song" was a big hit with the crowd of racing fans. However, it was their signature song, "Indiana Baby," that initially attracted the most attention. A homemade music video showing the girls as they take an imaginary tour across America, has been viewed more than 70,000 times on YouTube.

With "Saturday Night" and an accompanying music video for the title track, Jetset Getset hopes to exceed the success of their previous CD. Each song on the new album features clever lyrics and catchy melodies. Some were composed by veteran country music songwriters, including several by Tom Laden, who has written for Reba McIntire, Kenny Rogers, Restless Heart and Faith Hill, among other top performers. The song "Saturday Night" was composed by British songwriter Nelson King. Other tracks on the album are original.
