The 10th Annual Jingle Bell Jamboree concert will continue to bring joyous holiday spirits to the greater Park Slope community on Saturday night, Dec. 18th, @ 7pm. With the continued support from the Park Slope Civic Council, Park Slope Parents, and The Old First Reformed Church, the musical extravaganza will feature performances from a variety of Brooklyn based performing ensembles including: The Brooklyn Tech High School Choir, The ‘Old First' Family String Band, St. Joseph's High School Step Team, The PS 97 Show Choir and The Brooklyn Community Chorus. In addition, Jingle Bell Jamboree founder and producer, Ethan Schlesser and Rev. Daniel Meeter host a festive sing-a-long throughout the show.

And who'd want to miss the traditional ‘Grande Finale': The 12 Days of Christmas being performed by the entire festive audience!

Initially created as a way to bring healing after the 9/11 tragedy, Schlesser continues to produce the event with the support of the Brooklyn community, including Borough President Marty Markowitz. In addition, the Berkeley Carroll School offers their choral risers, members of the various choral groups volunteer to help setup the event, The Civic Council and the Park Slope Parents help to defray the costs of the promotional materials and additional expenses. The Civic Council also collects unwrapped toys as part of their TOYS FOR TOTS program. It's truly a community event.

For the performance, there is a $5 -$10 (children/adult) suggested donation. 100% of the proceeds go towards any additional expenses and to the non-profit arts organizations performing in the concert that provide services to our community. Schlesser, who donates all his time and energy adds, "Take a break from the holiday stress and wander into Old First. It's a fun way to join in the holiday spirit - now going on for 10 YEARS!"

The 10th annual Jingle Bell Jamboree will take place on Saturday, Dec. 18th @ 7:00pm.
Old First Reformed Church is located on 7th Ave and Carroll St (729 Carroll) in Park Slope.
