The Rewind Show is a vision we have had for as long as we have been in the business of night clubs and event planning. We are tired of the same concept that every night-club in NYC has been stuck with over the years and think that it's time to change the way to party! As we all know nothing can compare to a live performance and therefore we have created the Rewind Show! We want to bring an experience like no other by combining the live music of the 80's Rock & Roll era along with the best DJ's spinning the present hits. Every Saturday night, the Highline Ballroom will operate as a high-end night club to let people experience the Rewind Show. (http://therewindshow.com/)

Corey Taylor has a lot to say, which is precisely why millions affectionately know him as “The Great Big Mouth.” The Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman never minces words either on record or on stage, and that’s what has solidified him as one of hard rock’s most important singers. Taylor’s words have helped carry Slipknot and Stone Sour to multi-platinum status, solidifying both bands as veritable pop culture presences. From Slipknot’s Grammy-winning “Before I Forget” to radio hits such as Stone Sour’s “Through Glass,” Taylor's voice and lyrics continue to resonate with fans worldwide. However, he’s only begun to truly say what’s on his mind.

Combining a cathartic, chaotic growl with an undeniable and unforgettable melodic sensibility, Taylor created with Slipknot a sound that the world had never heard, instantly clicking with a generation of fans on the band's now-legendary 1999 eponymous debut, featuring songs like "(sic)," "Wait and Bleed," and "Surfacing." Subsequent releases included the band's most critically acclaimed album, 2004's Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses, and All Hope Is Gone (2008), which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200. In the midst of Slipknot's immense popularity, Taylor also had a chance to resurrect Stone Sour - a band he had formed before joining Slipknot. The group's 2002 self-titled debut prompted a worldwide tour, and "Bother" became a bona fide crossover hit. Subsequent releases Come What(ever) May (2006, featuring "Through Glass" and "Sillyworld") and Audio Secrecy (2010, featuring "Say You'll Haunt Me") revealed the breadth of Taylor's songwriting talents.

Despite their immense popularity, Slipknot and Stone Sour in fact reveal only a small sliver of Taylor's expressive potential. “If I choke myself off, I'm not going to be able to live and breathe this. I can't just be the angry guy in Slipknot or the dark guy in Stone Sour. People have to hear the other music as well because it's a big part of the story.” In addition to his music, Taylor recently released his literary debut, Seven Deadly Sins (2011) - a personal, poignant, and twisted take on what it means to sin. He also sat behind the board producing Walls of Jericho’s 2008 EP Redemption, and he’s written with both Halestorm and Rev Theory. He even hosted the 2009 and 2010 Kerrang Awards alongside Anthrax’s Scott Ian. Even after he has produced so much amazing material, fans can take comfort that Corey Taylor will never run out of things to say.

Amidst The Roots' busy schedule, from performing as the house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to recently fronting a Pre-Emmy Awards jam session, the legendary crew has returned with their latest musical creation, a new album entitled undun (Island Def Jam). Set for release on December 6, 2011, undun marks the first conceptually-based album from The Roots and quickly reaffirms the creativity of the outfit notorious for pushing the envelope. The album's first single, "Make My" featuring Big K.R.I.T., dropped on November 1st on iTunes. In addition to their new album, The Roots are set to perform in New York City on November 29th and 30th and December 6th at the Highline Ballroom.

undun is an existential re-telling of the short life of one Redford Stephens (1974-1999). Through the use of emotives and Redford's internal dialogues, the album seeks to illustrate the intersection of free will and prescribed destiny as it plays out "on the corner." Utilizing a reverse narrative arc, the album begins as the listener finds Redford disoriented - postmortem - and attempting to make sense of his former life. As he moves through its pivotal moments, he begins to deconstruct all that has led to his (and our own) coming undun.

Formed in 1987 in Philadelphia, PA, the legendary Roots Crew consists of Black Thought (MC), Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson (drums), Kamal Gray (electronic keyboards), F. Knuckles (percussion), Captain Kirk Douglas (electronic guitar), Damon Bryson (sousaphone), James Poyser (electronic keyboard), and Mark Kelly (electronic bass). Having previously released 12 projects, The Roots have become one of the best known and most respected hip-hop acts in the business, winning four Grammys, most recently for Best R&B Album for Wake Up! (2010), Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for "Hang on in There" (with John Legend), and Best Group or Duo R&B Vocal Performance for "Shine." Additionally, in 2009 The Roots, named one of the greatest live bands around by both Spin and Rolling Stone, became the official house band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where they currently perform every Monday - Friday.

When you go to see a therapist, the first thing you might do is check his credentials. And Robin Thicke has got a whole wall’s worth of accolades to recommend him. He's won three Grammys. He’s written and produced for Michael Jackson, Lil’ Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Marc Anthony, and Jennifer Hudson, and he has ultimately contributed to over 40 gold and platinum records by other artists. His breakthrough single, “Lost Without You,” and album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke (2006), both joined the platinum club themselves. He’s toured with Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, and Maxwell. And, in maybe the ultimate sign of pop-culture validation, he’s been a guest on Oprah Winfrey’s show three times. Is that board-certified enough for you?

If so, it may be time to submit to Thicke's fourth and most recent album, Sex Therapy: The Session (2009). The disc takes a substantially different tack than any of his previous records, both musically and thematically. For the first time, Thicke leavens his classic soul sound with more contemporary R&B, rock, electronic, and hip-hop influences and collaborators. He reflects on the career journey that led to this album: "After making my attempt at Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band with my first album [2003’s A Beautiful World], my second album [2006’s The Evolution of Robin Thicke] being a very heartfelt, spiritual expression, and the last album [2008’s Something Else] being an ode to my favorite ‘70s music, this new album is really a testament to the hip-hop and soul music that has shaped [me] and my generation."

Thicke has certainly stayed busy since releasing Sex Therapy. Following in the footsteps of his wife, actress Paula Patton, he recently began taking on some television and film acting work. He also continues to collaborate regularly, including a featured appearance on Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester's first single "Somebody to Love," spots on recent albums by Rick Ross and R. Kelly, and ongoing collaborations with old pal Lil' Wayne. Despite all that side work, Thicke is hardly neglecting his own music career. He just released the title track off his upcoming album Love After War, which is set to drop December 6th.

Monarchy is the latest installment in the history of mystery in pop. Very little is known about them apart from the fact that there are two and that the sound they make - swirling, symphonic, electronic bliss-disco with coolly emotional vocals - could have come from two or three times as many musicians. They are rumored variously to be French, Canadian, and English, and they live and work in London. They've remixed Kelis, Penguin Prison, Fyfe Dangerfield, Jamiroquai, and Lady Gaga herself, and they released their full-length debut album, Around the Sun, in the summer of 2011.
