HARD EVENTS Announces 2013 Special Events & Music Festivals

HARD EVENTS is kicking off 2013 with several major announcements surrounding their landmark music festivals and events.

HARD EVENTS, along with partners Cloud 9 Adventures and The Bowery Presents, recently celebrated the successful completion of HOLY SHIP!!, the second annual electronic music cruise, which set sail Friday, January 4, through Monday, January 7, 2013, aboard the glamorous Italian cruise liner MSC Poesia with thousands of fans onboard. HOLY SHIP!! sold out in record time and featured performances from Justice (DJ set), Boys Noize, Knife Party, Major Lazer, Diplo, A-Trak, Skream & Benga and many more.

The luxury boat-which launched from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, sailed onto Nassau, Bahamas and stopped on a private island for the second annual HOLY SHIP!! Beach Party!!-featured over 40 of the world's top DJs and cutting-edge artists in the dance/electronic world performing among multiple venues aboard the MSC Poesia into the late hours at sea. HOLY SHIP!! also featured stages and onboard activities specially curated by the talent, including: Knife Party PRESENTS EARSTORM, the DIRTYBIRD DISCO, the 80's PROM NIGHT ANTHEMS party hosted by SKREAM & FRIENDS, the MOOMBAHTON MASSIVE PARTY, the BLUE BEARD's BOOTY CLUB presented by MAJOR LAZER, as well as the wildly popular THE SECOND ANNUAL GREATEST MAD DECENT SCAVENGER HUNT, GINA TURNER's YOGA CLASS, THE SECOND ANNUAL Dillon Francis SINGLE-MALT INVITATIONAL mini-golf competition, OLIVER's "MOVE YOUR BODY" TWISTER faceoff and the 2ND ANNUAL HOLY SHIP!! POKER TOURNAMENT hosted by ZEDD, plus much more.

Set to conquer 2013, HARD EVENTS also recently announced the return of HARD SUMMER as a two-day event after expanding last year for the first time in the festival's 5-year history. Taking place Saturday, August 3, and Sunday, August 4, HARD SUMMER will once again take over the Los Angeles State Historic Park as the largest ticketed music festival in the city of Los Angeles.
