Canvasback Music/Atlantic recording artists Grouplove have unveiled details for their special headlining fall tour. "The Seesaw Tour" will feature two-night stands in eleven cities across the country the first night will be electric; the second night will be stripped down/acoustic. Performances will take place in intimate settings, including legendary clubs, historic sites, and obscure or rarely used venues. The tour kicks off with shows at The Crocodile on September 9th and The Triple Door on September 10th in Seattle, WA, and continues into October (see itinerary below). Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning on Friday, August 2nd, with pre-sale tickets becoming available for purchase on Tuesday, July 30th. The Rubens will be main support (http://therubensmusic.com/home-1). "The Seesaw Tour" heralds the release of Grouplove's highly anticipated new album, "SPREADING RUMOURS," due in stores and online on September 17th.

"Ways To Go," the infectious lead single from "Spreading Rumours" made its world premiere on Los Angeles's KROQ and is already top 10 on the Alternative radio chart. The track's companion music video directed by Cameron Duddy has received early adds at MTV2, mtvU, and Fuse, and already accumulated over 900K views on YouTube (http://youtu.be/VGvHnDeS12o). Grouplove will perform "Ways To Go" on the outdoor stage on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live on September 19th.

In other news, Grouplove has created a series of animated video shorts featuring audio snippets from each album track on "Spreading Rumours." The videos were created by NYC-based animation studio Ace & Son, and are based on original artwork by the band's own Hannah Hooper. Starting today with the track "I'm With You" (http://youtu.be/eaFIyWbBmX0), the video shorts will premiere twice a week on the band's official website, www.grouplovemusic.com, culminating in a single full-length video premiere on September 9th.

Grouplove has also partnered with the Snaps! mobile platform to create a customized app which allows fans to add Grouplove art elements to their new or existing photos and then seamlessly share with friends on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr. Using the app, fans can add characters from the album artwork, the band members' GROUP tattoo, and more. The band will be releasing new artwork from the "SPREADING RUMOURS" album booklet in the weeks leading up to the release. Snaps! can be downloaded for free on iOS and Android at http://bit.ly/SnapsGrouplove.

Additionally, Grouplove will perform a benefit concert for the Grammy Foundation's Grammy in the Schools music education programs at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on August 11th. The show lineup also includes Phoenix and LP. Tickets are available only at www.axs.com.

Grouplove came together in 2009 and soon were hailed as a great live act, both as headliners and at such international festivals as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Reading + Leeds Festivals, and Glastonbury. "Never Trust a Happy Song" arrived in 2011, making a stellar chart debut among the top 5 on Billboard's "Heatseekers" album chart for new and developing acts. Produced by the band's own Ryan Rabin, the acclaimed album was highlighted by the debut single, "Colours" which received critical acclaim and climbed to the top reaches at Alternative radio outlets nationwide.

"Tongue Tied," the second single from "Never Trust a Ha," proved an even greater success, earning RIAA platinum certification for sales in excess of 1 million while spending 3 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Alternative airplay chart. By year's end, the track had made history as Alternative radio's second most-played song of 2012, following only Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know." The third single, "Itchin' On A Photograph" also reached the Top 10 at Alternative radio.

Grouplove's dynamic live sets continued to win over fans on a pair of headline tours, both of which saw sold out crowds at every stop, including a hometown finale at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. That same undeniable energy was seen in an array of high profile television appearances, including CBS' Late Show with David Letterman, NBC's TODAY and Tonight Show with Jay Leno, TBS' Conan, and ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Grouplove is: Christian Zucconi (vocals, guitar), Hannah Hooper (vocals, keys), Sean Gadd (bass, vocals), Andrew Wessen (guitar, vocals), Ryan Rabin (drums).
