Green Label Sound Signs Joey Bada$$

Today, Green Label Sound announces the signing of today's hotly-tipped young rapper and Cinematic Music Group artist Joey Bada$$ for a new single to be released this Autumn.

Joey is leading the way for the resurgence of hip-hop from the golden era anD Making waves in the process. Since his partnership with Cinematic Music Group and Creative Control for the release of debut mixtape 1999 with the Progressive Era, he has received critical praise from Pitchfork, The FADER and Stereogum, amongst many others. On deciding to partner with Green Label Sound for his next single this Fall, Joey added, "I'm really excited to be working with Green Label Sound on this track. In other Green Label Sound news, three new remixes of the original track "Hollywood (featuring Penguin Prison)" by RAC are out today from Cassian, Treasure Fingers and Escort. Originally released in May, the track was a staple of Summer mixtapes for critics and fans alike. All three new remixes, the original track, as well as takes from Felix Da Housecat and The Magician, are available to download exclusively at greenlabelsound.com

Joey Bada$$, RAC and a handful of other artists in the Green Label Sound family will be performing at this year's annual CMJ Music Marathon in New York City in October, 2012.
