Grammy Nominees Bill Harley, The Pop Ups and More Perform Family Concert at The Mint in LA Today

The Children's Recording Arts Alliance announces their fourth annual family concert celebrating this year's children's album nominees for The GRAMMYs. The concert, which is open to the public, will once again take place at The Mint LA (6010 W Pico in Los Angeles), today, February 9th, 11 am to 12 noon.

All five of this year's GRAMMY nominees for best album for children will perform:

· Bill Harley
· Elizabeth Mitchell and You Are My Flower
· The Okee Dokee Brothers
· The Pop Ups
· The JumpinJazz Kids band

All net proceeds from the concert will go to support Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation (http://www.mhopus.org/) , which keeps music alive in schools by donating musical instruments to under-funded music programs. The 2011 children's GRAMMY nominee concert netted $2000 for the organization.

Super DJs Absolutely Mindy and Kenny Curtis from Sirius XM Kids Place Live record a remote radio broadcast of the concert to air nationwide later in the day.

Tickets ($12 in advance, $15 day of show) are available HERE. These annual concerts sell out, so advance ticket purchase is strongly advised.

A children's recording arts networking luncheon will follow the concert, at the Mint. The NAPPA Awards (National Parenting Publications) is presenting sponsor of this industry-only event.
