Folgers, FOLGERS JINGLE CONTEST, Gavin DeGraw
For more than 27 years, the Folgers Best Part of Wakin' Up jingle has been inspiring brighter mornings and a positive outlook on the day that lies ahead. Continuing its legacy, Folgers Coffee is partnering with multi-platinum recording artist Gavin DeGraw to invite aspiring musicians to submit their own versions of the iconic Folgers jingle for a chance to win $25,000. The Best Part of Wakin' Up jingle has been adapted by numerous nationally-renowned recording artists across various musical genres including country, R&B, a cappella and gospel, and DeGraw's contagious energy and optimistic warmth are great inspiration for the next great rendition.
"The Folgers jingle has continued to evolve and stay relevant because it's a message we all understand and recognize," said Gavin DeGraw. "I'm really excited to partner with Folgers and invite aspiring musicians to share their own rendition and pursue their passion."
"The Folgers Jingle has inspired many special and unique versions over the years and we are thrilled to partner with Gavin DeGraw for the third Jingle Contest," said Maribeth Badertscher, Vice President, Corporate Communications, The J.M Smucker Company. "His passion for music is the same optimistic passion that drives Folgers Coffee to deliver an exceptional coffee experience every day and ensure that the best part of wakin' up continues to be Folgers Coffee in your cup."
