GREEN DAY ¡UNO! OUT TODAY

Green Day ¡Uno!, the first album in Green Day's album trilogy Green Day ¡Uno!, Green Day ¡Dos!, and Green Day ¡Tré!, hits stores today via Reprise Records. Green Day ¡Uno! will be followed by Green Day ¡Dos! on November 13, 2012, and Green Day ¡Tré! on January 15, 2013. The albums are the follow-up to the Grammy Award-winning 21st Century Breakdown, and were produced by the band's long-time producer Rob Cavallo.

Billie Joe Armstrong is currently featured on the cover of Guitar World Magazine. The band was also recently profiled on the ABC News program Nightline (http://abcnews.go.com/Nightline/video/town-green-day-17296603). Early praise for Green Day ¡Uno! includes Rolling Stone, who called the album "12 blasts of hook-savvy mosh-pit pop, cut hot and simple", USA Today who described the album as a "...power-pop blast off", and Alternative Press, who declared "¡Uno! does what Green Day have always done best: play loud, fast, catchy-as-fuck punk rock that results in near-endless replay value."

Green Day is vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool.
