GREEN DAY Announce Three Intimate Club Shows To Kick Off 2013 Tour

Reprise Records' multi-platinum GrammyAward-winning Green Day today announced three live club dates to kick off their 2013 tour next month. For these shows, the band will visit smaller intimate venues, including The Fox Theater in Pomona, CA on March 10th, The Marquee in Tempe, AZ on March 11th and Tricky Falls in El Paso, TX on March 13th. Tickets for all three dates will go on-sale this Friday, 3/1 at 10:00 AM local time. See below for a complete list of live dates.

The band also recently announced the forthcoming release of their documentary film ¡Cuatro! which will be featured in the 20th Anniversary South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference and Festival, running from March 8 - 16, 2013 in Austin, Texas. The film takes you inside the world of Green Day, chronicling the conceptualizing and recording of the album trilogy and features intimate live performances that took place along the way. Additionally, the Doug Hamilton directed Broadway Idiot will world premiere at SXSW. The film pulls back the curtain with lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong as he ventures into the strange new world of Broadway with their massive hit musical American Idiot. The band will also perform in Austin on Friday, March 15th at the Moody Theater.

Green Day is vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool.
