Goo Goo Dolls have been selected to perform at The Creative Coalition's Inaugural Ball, to take place on January 21, 2013 at 9:00 pm at the Harman Center for the Arts (610 F Street, NW) in Washington, DC. The multi-platinum rock band has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, with 14 Top 10 Radio hits. Goo Goo Dolls have three songs on Billboard's "Top 100 Songs from 1992-2012" including the Number One slot, for "Iris." They are currently at work on their 10th studio album, due out later this year via Warner Bros Records. The Inaugural Ball is a benefit gala for The Creative Coalition (www.thecreativecoalition.org) - the premiere nonprofit 501(c)(3), nonpartisan Social and public advocacy organization of the arts and entertainment community. Founded in 1989 by prominent members of the creative community, The Creative Coalition is dedicated to educating, mobilizing, and activating its members on issues of public importance, primarily public education, the First Amendment, and arts advocacy. Actor Tim Daly serves as the organization's President.
