Fighting Dragons is a refreshing tale that takes us from warm childhood memories into an enlightenment of our own capabilities to overcome the challenges that life throws at us. It is a magical story that references fairytale imagery that we can all relate to. The lyrics challenge each of us to know that we all possess an inner warrior strength that can help us overcome the hurdles of life, be it bullying, health issues or the like. We also learn, that all of us at every age, are teachers. The lyrics may seem simple, but the hidden meanings are plentiful.

Emmarie does not limit her style to one genre but instead embraces the qualities of each style, blending them to include the structural dynamics that she loves. Fighting Dragons has a pop, rock, techno feel with a little musical theater twist.
