Dolly Parton's 'Hollywood to Dollywood' & 'Dream More' Now on Sale

On the tour for the release of her new book, country legend Dolly Parton addressed the rumors about her relationship with her lifelong best friend, stating that she loves her as much as anybody in the world, but they are not romantically involved. Dolly's big heart endeared her to a generation of fans, and two of those fans have even made a documentary about it: Hollywood to Dollywood.

On the fumes of a dream, twin brothers Gary and Larry Lane have written a script with a plum role for one of their idols, Dolly Parton. Having had no luck getting the screenplay into her hands, they embark on a cross-country journey to personally deliver it to her. They set off from Dolly's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame heading east for Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in an RV named Jolene. Along Interstate 40 at rest stops, RV parks, bars, and hair salons, our intrepid band of travelers meet everyday Americans as they encounter everything from floods in Nashville to an Oklahoma tornado.

The journey is also one of discovery for the brothers, as well: their relationship with their parents; their hopes, fears and ambitions; the bigotry they've encountered; as they search for tolerance and acceptance and the joy of realizing their biggest dream: handing their screenplay to Dolly Parton.

Hailed by comedienne Rosie O'Donnell as "a beautiful film", and featuring 15 Dolly Parton classics, the DVD comes packed with extras to delight all Dolly fans, including deleted scenes, new Dolly music, extended interviews, outtakes and more! 10% of every DVD and 100% of every book sale will go to Dolly's Imagination Library, a literacy charity for children that has given out over 40 million books.

In Dream More, the legendary Dolly Parton shares for the first time her deeply held philosophy of life and her heartfelt hopes for everyone.

Based on the hugely popular commencement speech Dolly Parton gave at the University of Tennessee that became a sensation, "Dream More" is a deeper and richer exploration of the personal philosophy she has forged over the course of her astonishing career as a singer, songwriter, performer, and philanthropist.

Using her speech as a jumping-off point, Parton explores the four great hopes she urges us to embrace: dream more, learn more, care more, and be more. She culls examples of these values from her own life as illustrations, from growing up poor in the hills of eastern Tennessee to her experiences as the iconic performer she has become today.

Written by one of the cultural legends of our time, "Dream More" is a poignant and uplifting anthem for all who want to take charge of their lives and forge a future on their own terms.
