Debbie Reynolds and Connie Stevens Perform in Thousand Oaks Today, 11/9

The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation presents AN EVENING WITH Debbie Reynolds AND Connie Stevens in the Fred Kavli Theatre at 8:00 pm today, November 9, 2012, in a unique pairing of two performers in a special concert just for Thousand Oaks.

Debbie Reynolds (Singin’ in the Rain, Irene on Broadway) “has been a ball of fire since she whirled on the Hollywood scene at the age of 16 during MGMs grandest years. With that always adorable face and saucy sparkle, she has personified cheerful exuberance and youthful innocence since the earliest days of her career. After more than 50 years in show business — first as a film star, then on stage and in nightclubs, then television — there is little she has not done.

Equally well-rounded in the entertainment world, Connie Stevens’ impressive resume runs the gamut from motion picture star, television star, Broadway star, recording artist, to the concert stage and development of a successful cosmetic empire.
