Debbie Gibson Composes New Songs for CIRQUE MUSICA

TGC Productions, producer of CIRQUE MUSICA - a concert and visual experience for the entire family -- has announced a new creative collaboration with Debbie Gibson. Ms. Gibson will compose two new original songs for the new touring circus-style show, which performs with a full symphony orchestra. Traveling with the show to perform her new numbers is up and coming new talent Ali Isabella, a 2012 top 100 selection of The New Music Seminar's 'Artist On The Verge' chart.

"To compose music for a show of this magnitude is so fulfilling," said Debbie Gibson. "I found the experience of providing the score to such breathtaking artistry and first-rate acts inspiring. Ali Isabella brings a freshness and spirit to the music to create the ultimate all around live experience."

Ms. Gibson is well known in the American pop-music scene. Composing since age 5, at the age of 13 she wrote what would become her first pop hit 'Only in My Dreams" which kicked off her recording career at age 16. Debbie is the youngest artist to write, produce and perform a #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, with her song 'Foolish Beat'. She was named ASCAP songwriter of the year (tied with Bruce Springsteen) in 1989. She has had an extensive career centered in Pop music with multiple #1 songs and has starred in a number of Broadway shows (Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, Grease), touring musicals, film and TV. Debbie is currently collaborating with Jimmy Van Patten on an original Broadway musical titled "The Flunky", and continues to tour, including her work with Sam Harris in "Rewind", a Symphonic musical journey through popular 80's music.

CIRQUE MUSICA features top circus performers from around the world performing in an over-the-top arena spectacular and features a LIVE symphony orchestra on stage. The musical repertoire features world favorites from the classical cannon including Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee, Violin Concerto in D Major by Tchaikovsky, Gustav Holst's The Planets, as well as orchestral POPS features, including a salute to some of the best rock acts of all time, in addition to the two new numbers being composed by Ms. Gibson.
