Meanwhile popular summer songs "As Long As You Love Me" by Justin Bieber, "Otis" by Jay-Z and Kanye West and "Blown Away" by Carrie Underwood were certified Platinum to denote more than one million downloads sold.

The RIAA awarded Madonna with her 20th career Gold album award for her March release "MDNA" (Interscope). With career certifications representing more than 64 million albums sold, Madonna is the RIAA's second most awarded female solo artist after Barbra Streisand.
