Dave Koz and BeBe Winans Set for New Jersey's bergenPAC Tonight, 6/23

Saxophonist Dave Koz is joined by GRAMMY-winner BeBe Winans for an evening of contemporary jazz and R&B, tonight, June 23rd at 8PM at bergenPAC. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com or bergenPAC.org or by calling the box office at 201 227 1030.

Special guest BeBe Winans sang on the title track of Dave Koz's 1999 album, The Dance. They'll perform together, treating audiences to their biggest hits - and a few surprises, too. "BeBe and I have been friends for 20 years, but this is the first time we've toured together and I'm so excited," says Koz. "We've unofficially dubbed it 'The Brothers From Another Mother' tour because superficially we couldn't be more different, but we actually have so much in common."

"I've said no for years to touring, but this time seems right because of what we bring together to the stage," said Winans, adding, "the love people will feel from the concerts is real, and hopefully the audience will take it home with them."

Dave Koz’s latest album, Hello Tomorrow (2010), debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. iTunes named it “Best Smooth Jazz Album of 2010.” Koz earned a GRAMMY nomination for At the Movies (2007), an innovative collection of recordings paying homage to great instrumental music from film.

Since his 1997 self-titled debut, vocalist BeBe Winans has released a string of platinum-selling albums that have graced the Top 10 on several of Billboard’s charts. Winans’s smooth vocals and remarkable passion have also garnered him 4 GRAMMY Awards, including Album of the Year for The Bodyguard (1993).
