"Daze of Save" entices local residents to save their gas money traveling to events, festivals, and programs in the urban cities, and bring it back home to the real 'country' in Iowa. The annual old-time acoustic music event is now in it's 37th year and is devoted to bringing alive not only the music of Iowa's settling pioneers, but also the pioneer's survival crafts. The week of Aug. 27 through Sept. 2 features ten sound stages and more than 650 performers.
