Brantley Gilbert
Country music artist Brantley Gilbert is taking on a new kind of adventure, his first USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour. The singer/songwriter is set to extend America's thanks to troops and military families in the Middle East and Italy. As part of his tour experience, Gilbert is scheduled to perform four USO concerts and participate in several meet and greet sessions. Giving our deployed troops and their families a much-needed break from their daily routines.
In addition to those troops and families he will reach as part of his upcoming USO tour, Gilbert has a special treat planned for military families who attend his two upcoming commercial UK concerts. Military ID holders who attend his March 15th show in Glasgow at Oran Mor, or his March 16th show in Manchester at Club Academy will have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive meet and greet with the country music star.
Entertainment tours are one of the many ways the USO helps to lift the spirits of our troops and military families. In 2013, the USO will host more than 200 events specifically tailored to meet the needs of our wounded, ill and injured troops and their families and caregivers. About the USO
The USO lifts the spirits of America's troops and their families millions of times each year at hundreds of places worldwide. We provide a touch of home through centers at airports and military bases in the U.S. and abroad, top quality entertainment and innovative programs and services. We also provide critical support to those who need us most, including forward-deployed troops, military families, wounded warriors and families of the fallen. The USO is a private, non-profit organization, not a government agency. Our programs and services are made possible by the American people, support of our corporate partners and the dedication of our volunteers and staff.
