Christopher Alpiar Quartet To Celebrate CD Release At Shapeshifter Lab, 12/10

Behip Records Recording Artist: The Christopher Alpiar Quartet will celebrate the release of their new cd, THE JAZZ EXPRESSION, at the Shapeshifter Lab on Tuesday, December 12th at 8:00 pm. There will be a $10 cover fee at the door only! The album is now available for purchase on Itunes!

The Christopher Alpiar Quartet is a free-Jazz, Coltrane inspired group of original music. This band played extensively in the mid-90s in New York with a steady gig at “The Squire” (previously “The Angry Squire”) in Chelsea. They recorded this album at Right Track Studios in 1995. After nearly two decades of this extraordinary band finding their separate paths in music and life, they have reunited again to release their album THE JAZZ EXPRESSION and to bring their flavor of Jazz exploration rooted in the tradition to the world.
