Chicago Jazz Orchestra, Bobby Broom
On Monday, August 6th, as the CJO continues its popular summer residency at Andy's Jazz Club, it will feature one of Chicago's premiere guitarists, Bobby Broom. As one of Chicago's most recognizable musicians, Bobby Broom is also a composer and educator, as well as the founder of the Deep Blue Organ Trio. Adept at many musical styles, he performs Jazz, Funk, Soul, R&B and the Blues, and has worked with some of the biggest names in jazz, including Sonny Rollins, Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers, Stanley Turrentine, MiLes Davis and Ramsey Lewis. We're delighted to feature Mr. Broom with the CJO.
