CNTRL: BEYOND EDM Returns to North America Today

CNTRL: BEYOND EDM--the music and education tour created by leading electronic artists RICHIE HAWTIN and LOCO DICE--returns to North America with a special one-off date at SXSW.

The event, taking place at Bungalow in Austin today March 13, will see the pair curate a line-up which broadens the electronic spectrum further. Bringing together different artists who were all at SXSW, the line-up sees HAWTIN and DICE close the event, with special guests including Tiga (who appeared in Montreal on the CNTRL tour in November), plus DJ sets from Canadian electronic act Azari & III and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

The event is opened by Matthew Hawtin, pioneering the aesthetic of the electronic music lifestyle with his music and art concepts, plus Ean Golden from DJ Tech-Tools who hosted the entire CNTRL tour and who champions the "controlerisim" scene with his unique performance technology techniques. CNTRL is an official SXSW event and entry is strictly for SXSW badges and wristbands, with very limited tickets on the door subject to capacity. The event runs from 7pm-2am.
