New behind the scenes footage of music icon Tony Bennett recording the classic Richard Rodgers & Lorenz Hart PAL JOEY standard "The Lady Is A Tramp" with pop superstar Lady Gaga from the recording sessions of his hit DUETS II album has just been released.

See Gaga arrive in full ARTPOP-esque regalia, just as we have come to expect from the visionary star as she prepares to meet an idol of her very own.

"Hello, Tony!" she coos. "You look so handsome!" the pop star sweetly tells the music legend. "I'm so excited to be here!

"I love the way you look - that's great," Bennett says with a laugh. "Your hair looks fabulous!"

Remarking upon her blue coif and see-thru lace ensemble Gaga retorts, "I thought I'd give it a little twist for you. The whole thing was for you - head to toe. I said, 'What would Tony want?'"

Well, whether he wanted it or not, he certainly got it - and then some!

Witness the two music mega-stars create corrosive chemistry right before your very eyes with the jazzy DUETS II track, a spunky and funky take on the PAL JOEY crowd-pleasing stunner.

View how fast friends can be formed among titanic talents like these two troubadours in a few fleeting moments.

Between takes, Gaga asks Bennett, "Did you choose that color yellow for your lenses?" He responds with a yes. "You wanted them to be yellow? I figured you did."

Later, she confesses, "I'm so nervous!" before positively nailing a tricky melody line.

This lady is a champ - and Tony is no slouch, either!
