Barefoot Truth Releases New Rock and Roots CD Carry Us On 9/6

Barefoot Truth have confirmed the September 6, 2011 release of their new CD, "Carry Us On," which features a collection of exciting, soulful and incredibly engaging music. The groundbreaking first video, for the track ‘Roll If You Fall', is sure to become a viral hit - filmed in a New Hampshire wind tunnel, the band takes to the air in vertical winds of up to 160 miles an hour at their irreverent, high-flyin' best to promote one of the most accessible songs on the album.

Hailing from Mystic, Connecticut, Barefoot Truth's compelling live performances have earned them recognition from their fans as "a musical force of nature". The band has shared the stage with such legends such as Crosby and Nash, Bruce Hornsby and Bela Fleck, as well as with Boston-based trio State Radio.

Highlights of "Carry Us On" include the powerful track ‘The Ocean', the instantly memorable ‘Rope' and ‘Reelin', and the understated vibe of ‘Misled' and ‘Reach' -- the band shows tremendous growth as songwriters and performers, and will soon hit the road on a major U.S. tour - itinerary follows, with European dates planned in the spring of 2012.

The band features Will Evans on drums and lead vocals, Andy Wrba on upright bass, Jay Driscoll on Weissenborn slide guitar, Garrett Duffy on harmonica, and John Waynelovich on piano.
