THE WATER DREAM SUMMER PARTY!, with live rock and contemporary music theatre performed by Anthony Rapp (RENT) with Doug Chapman, Alexis Hightower, Justin Hines, Emily Otto & Kris Rogers under the musical direction of Emily Otto (Southern Comfort, Stolen Chair), will take place on Saturday June 30, 2012 8-10 PM at The Irish Rogue, 356 West 44th Street - Upstairs. There will be a live auction. Proceeds go towards the New York premiere of The Water Dream in 2013.

THE WATER DREAM is a powerful and beautiful musical journey of redemption that features
giant whale puppets, an aquarium of real water, a haunting folk-rock score, and Anthony Rapp (star of the Pulitzer Prize-and-Tony Award-Winning Broadway smash and blockbuster film RENT).
THE WATER DREAM is recipient of two awards (the Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship
Award in Playwriting and the Citation for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts by Governor Deval
Patrick) and has received more than five years of non-stop development, and nearly a dozen staged readings, concerts, and developmental workshops in New York City, Boston, and beyond, including the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at 42nd Street, and Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, Massachusetts, headlining their Studio Festival of Plays, starring Anthony Rapp and other Broadway talents. The cast and creative team have included many artists from Broadway, Film, Television, Cirque du Soleil and more.

THE WATER DREAM features Book, Music, and Lyrics by the show’s co-star Shawn Cody, Music Direction by Emily Otto, and is produced by cast members Adam Kern and Doug Chapman. All four are graduates of the American Repertory Theater Institute at Harvard University. With Music Arrangements by Bill Barclay, Book Contributions by Rob O'Hare, and additional contributions by
Emily Otto, Ryan Link, and Anthony Rapp.
